1.Managing Vendor Address Information in Uplink
To update address details for a selected vendor, navigate to the Addresses 1 module from the main menu. On this screen, you’ll see the “Headquarters Physical Address” 2 section which is automatically populated using the information entered on the vendor’s General Information page. To add additional addresses, simply click the Add Address button located in the top-right corner.
Please note: Only vendor-level address should be added in this section. Location-level address must be entered separately in the designated section.
2.Headquarters Physical Address
The Headquarters Physical Address is prefilled based on the information provided on the vendor’s General Information page.
- This address cannot be deleted.
- Only one Headquarters Physical Address is permitted per vendor.
- Users may edit this address if updates are needed.
3.Adding a New Address
To add a new address, click the “Add Address” 3 button. This will open the Address Details form.
- All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. The Save button will only become active once all mandatory fields are completed.
- Address Type: Select the appropriate address type (e.g., Registered, Postal).
- Address Line 1: Enter the full address based on the selected address type.
- Address Line 2 (optional): Add any additional address details, if applicable.
- Country: Choose the correct country from the dropdown menu.
- State: Select the state that corresponds to the address.
- City: Choose the appropriate city from the list.
- ZIP Code: Enter the relevant ZIP or postal code.
Once all required fields are filled in, click “Save” 4 to add the address. To cancel, click Cancel. In both cases, you’ll return to the main Addresses screen.
4.Editing an Existing Address
To edit an existing address, click the pencil icon 5 next to the address entry. The Address Details form will open with the current information. Make the necessary changes, then click Save to apply the updates.
5.Deleting an Address
To delete an address, click the trash icon 6 next to the pencil icon. A confirmation prompt will appear. Once confirmed, the address will be permanently removed from the list.
6.Searching for an Address
If multiple addresses are listed, you can use the search bar to filter 7 results. Search by keywords such as Address Type, City, Country, or other relevant details to quickly locate a specific entry.
